HDMI is supposed to work with that card right? A passive splitter could be causing signal loss through its circuitry that is degrading the signal quality. And the splitter has the option to select which input is preferred, and the correct input was selected. I connected all the cables, but all I saw was a black screen, then I disconnected the blue one and I could see the game, but it was black and white. which is a pain. ALL my other inputs work. Really the only thing I can suggest is to try and find these settings. that's for DVD players mainly.
