I'm sure this can be solved though, unless the shared host is somehow blocking or misrouting your location's IP/block.

In case you are referencing my post, I think you know that some decisions about servers are made by their owners. I know this is commonly a DNS issue, but I cannot for the life of me get to the bottom of this.
