However, I can only do texting with the MacBook. I made sure of that.Im not sure I would know how to get this resolved between to ISP's. As a bonus, screen sharing serves as a live video tutorial for the recipient. I'll simply add that my old AIM account is still working just fine for me, in Messages and OS X 10.9.4 (Mavericks,) without any changes being made on my end. I am running Customer Question i cannot get screen sharing to work within ichat. It is an Audio Only chat with a VNC connection along side. Unfortunately, most of us have two choices: Apple or Windows (there is Linux, but I don't know enough about it to say it's the way to go). I might have found it sooner if I'd been more persistent earlier on.
This time, I was determined to find a solution. But the remote viewer can click and drag the screen, creating a highlighted circle on the local computer's screen. Not sure if this is causing the problem...maybe a permission thing?
