On the opposite, VNC captures the real console sessions screen and sends it over the TCP connection, so it can only display what is already present on the MB Air screen, This has always worked with no problem both locally on my LNA and over the internet, 300 miles away. In my case I uninstalled all. I have been using screen sharing for yrs to troubleshoot family and friends, but it doesn't seem to connect with everyone the same for some reason.
