This fundamental difference in audience is why we support two communities, r/Apple and r/AppleHelp. but then when I wiggle the card slightly, the card will unmount, so there is either still some particulate matter in the slot that needs to be cleaned out, or some I see - thanks. So today I started up virtual windows, connected Internal Card Reader (through settings for USB in vmware) and after a couple of tries - managed to mount SD card in windows.
