But EaseUS has a good one also. Disconnected the pair of fine wires in my FreeAgent Pro 1 TB, removed this senseless FreeAgent Software from my Mac with the uninstaller - restarted. All it does is click now… Good thing I didnt delete my original data. I think it's because I use it constantly every day for my music rather than as a backup HDD that it overheats so much. We tried to reboot the Mac Mini at this point, this did not succeed (stopped while showing only the background graphics), after a hard reset the drive was once more invisible However my device manager says there is a USB device and detects it as a freeagent. My 320 GB freeagent would work for 1-2 mins max and then stop responding.
