Any help would be appreciated. Seagate Freeagent Software go to control panel-hardware and sounds-devices and printer now here check if your drive is showing.i probably guess it must b showing because you can see the disk in disk management. I needed my data immediately so this is what I did.

Unplug the drive completely, reattach everything and it doesn't show up in Windows at all. I verified the power supply, USB port and USB cable was okay using new FreeAgent drive, which worked just fine; so I just shipped the bad one back to Seagate and I had the FreeAgent 250 USB only enclosure. Rating is available when the video has been rented.
Having the air flow underneath seems to have solved the problem because it has been working great ever since.
